Doors are a big deal at Norris House. One of our earliest posts was about the spectacular front doors, which are among the few original pieces of character that survived all these years. If you missed that one, you can check it out here: Those Fabulous Front Doors.

We've also got some beautiful original doors inside. All of these will be repaired, freshly painted and preserved. We love the double arch details. It's probably tough to tell from the photos, but those are applied mouldings attached over what were rectangular panels in the door. At the top right and left of the arches you can see the filler piece that was put in place to achieve the look.
